Initial situation
With the expansion of the project business, the requirements for the ERP solution at Bieri Tenta AG have changed significantly. The individual orders and the project business should be combined in one solution and presented transparently. The new solution is intended to optimally support the various processes along the value chain from calculation to production and assembly and at the same time provide the defined management metrics.
Solution description
With the aim of questioning all processes and functions and returning existing adjustments to the standard, a detailed concept was developed based on the LOGICO project methodology. It was decided to introduce a project structure. The project now takes on a central role at Bieri Tenta AG. All processes from the preparation of offers to order processing, calculation, construction, purchasing, logistics, production, time and operating data recording are linked to the project, thereby enabling a holistic overview including preliminary and final calculations
